After a winter’s nap, we’re launching the 2015 harbor tour season on Friday, Feb. 13, and we’re ready to show off Charleston’s beauty and history to visitors, host private events for local businesses and show wedding parties a wonderful time on the water.
Meet our fleet – either on one of regular tours, specials or book a boat for a private charter.
The Carolina Belle has an open observation deck perfect for viewing skylines and sunsets plus an enclosed main salon for dinner or parties. The Carolina Belle can accommodate up to 250 passengers in a charter configuration.
The 80-foot Carolina Belle is used for our harbor tours, in which guests spend 90 minutes on the water learning about 75 landmarks and points of interest key to Charleston’s rich history.
Historic highlights include:
- Fort Sumter where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.
- USS Yorktown, a World War II ship.
- Homes along the Battery are stately and historic, true symbols of Southern elegance.
- St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, which survived both the Revolutionary and Civil wars.
The 105-foot Carolina Queen can accommodate larger groups up to 400 passengers. With her working paddlewheel and smokestacks, the Queen is reminiscent of the old Mississippi River boats. The Queen – Charleston’s only authentic riverboat – also has three decks for entertaining with a main bar and satellite bar available.
